Comments / Thoughts / Challenges:
- During the product demos, it was a challenge engaging customers, explaining the product and the farm in a short amount of time, and answering questions. I sometimes got a little flustered because there would be too many people talking to me at once. Giving people the right information because really challenging because I had to think about 3 to 4 different things all at once.
- It’s been interesting doing my research looking for community partners here in Newark. I am finding out that there are many local community organizations in Newark. It’s been great looking at each organization’s website, finding out what they do, and how they hope to make an impact.
- Meeting member of the community during the product demos and events has been really great. It’s nice to see who is aware of AeroFarms and Dream Greens and listen to them talk about their thoughts about the products as well as the technology.
- It’s also been enlightening to observe how people shop and how they make purchasing decisions. Being at the supermarket affords me with the opportunity to see what types of techniques are effective to get people to purchase products.
