Comments / Thoughts / Challenges:

  • Since it is the beginning of the year, people were willing to try and talk about leafy greens.  Those who have made it their New Year’s Resolution to eat healthier were more enthusiastic about trying and talking about Dream Greens.  However, the cold weather this day affected the foot traffic in the store since everyone just wanted to go in, do what they need to do, and leave.
  • Employee participation at farm stand has been really great.  It is great to see that AeroFarms employees actually support their products.  They embrace the mission and vision of AeroFarms by personally using the products they help develop.
  • It was a great experience to present to the Sales & Marketing Team.  They were very receptive to my ideas which I really appreciated.  They agreed that AeroFarms need to be more involved with the City of Newark so that community members become more aware of AeroFarms’ involvement in the City of Newark.
  • When I sent my preceptor a list of the projects I have completed during my time here at AeroFarms, I was surprised at the number of projects I have completed in the 8 weeks I have been here. It has been a great experience.
