Comments / Thoughts / Challenges:

  • I found about 4 pages worth of Health & Wellness events around Northern NJ and NYC. However, after finding those events, it became more difficult to find other events.
  • I was tasked to run farm stand on my own this week since the Sales Assistant was on vacation. Since I have been assisting with running farm stand every week since I first started at AeroFarms, it was not too difficult of a task.  During this farm stand, no community members came in.  Only 4 employees purchased greens.  All I had to do was take their payment and record the transaction in the Excel spreadsheet provided.  I needed to record the name of the employee, the products they bought, the amount, and the lot number of each clamshell.  Writing down the lot number is important because in case there were any contamination of during production, we would be able pinpoint which batches were affected.
  • While working on the events recap assignment, it was interesting to see past events and activities that AeroFarms has participated in.
