Clinical Rotation – Week 5 Journal
Dates of rotation: Monday – Tuesday (April 30, 2018 – May 1, 2018)
Location: Martha McKittrick Nutrition
Activities & Assignments:
Monday (4 hours)
- Continued working on Eating Out Guide
- Thoughts: My preceptor wanted to add more information per cuisine (calories). The list has gotten extensive which is great because we are able to provide more information to the clients which I am hoping will help them with the diet changes they are trying to make.
Tuesday (1 hour)
- Final edits to the Eating Out Guide
- Put together a list of references for all the calorie amounts.
- Made a list of all the projects I have done for Martha
- Thoughts: I have enjoyed this rotation immensely. I have learned a great deal about patient counseling. This client population has been different than who I have been encountered.
